Summer lovin'

My previous post was way too long, so I decided to keep going but start on a new post.  Our month of June was crazy and fun, and July has not disappointed us!  It has been busy, busy, and now we have a little bit of a break before Chloe's wedding in August.
4th of July was great this year! It's Brian's favorite holiday so he just goes nuts over it. We spent it at the Messer's eating, playing and watching fireworks. The boys even held their first sparklers, and Finn burnt his hand... oops. I caught this sweet moment during the fireworks of Brian and Finn.

This is us waiting at the airport for Aunt Hailey! She was gone for 4 months in Ecuador at a children's orphanage. The things she did down there... she is so amazing and we are proud of her.
Welcome home Hailey!

Our next family reunion was with the Messer's and we went camping! I only got one picture the whole time, can you believe it?! It's because I turned my phone off pretty much the whole time we were there, and it was glorious. We were worried about how the boys would sleep in a tent, but they did fantastic. Unfortunately we could only stay one night because Brian had to work, and we were so sad to leave.  But we had a blast, talking, laughing, making crafts, playing in the stream, hiking, and playing with cousins.
We took them for a drive to get them to sleep for naptime.  It just cracked me up that they were in the same position but opposite.
These guys are so funny because one second they are fighting, and the next they are hugging and laughing. They are the lights of my life and I'm so glad I get to be home and hang out with them every day. They make me happy to be alive! I love you Finn and Crew.

Half way through summer

We have had such a fun summer so far!  I can't believe all the things we have done and summer is already half way over. It is so fun with the boys right now, because they are old enough to get excited about new things and listen to me... a little bit :)

Going for a walk
I sent Brian a picture of this, he was not thrilled ha
Hanging out with Papa

Icecream at Nana's

Playing outside
Hanging out with Uncle Trent
 Chalk with cousins
Playing with puppies! He kept cooing and trying to put them in a pile

Brian and I got to go to a REAL game around our anniversary with my parents. We actually had out first date at the REAL game about 10 years ago. It was around the 4th of July and I remember that when they sang the national anthem, Brian stood up immediately and put his hand on his heart. I remember being so impressed with him. It's fun to think that 10 years ago we had no idea that one day we would be married!

My sister, her husband, and their 3 kids drove from Texas to Utah in June to be here for 3 weeks and join our 2nd annual Clawson family reunion. The drive took 24 hours... I cannot believe they did that with 3 kids. Amazing.
These pictures were actually from the Barnett family reunion in June
Looking grumpy, but they could have thrown rocks in the river for hours!
Sunday nights outside
Bike rides with Knox and Titus
Lots of water and popsicles this summer

Mimi is a genius and we popped popcorn one day, the kids loved it!
Chair Train! Naked, of course

We had a lot of fun hanging out and then renting out a condo for our reunion.  Unfortunately, the flu went through the entire house and followed us to the reunion. Everyone got sick except my dad and my brother Tyler... it was a bad one.  Not to mention we have 7 grandkids under 3 right now, so it was a little crazy! But oh so fun!
Spent the day at Jordanelle

Finn helping Ty pump up the tube
Painting birdhouses
Spinning in a chair (Finn's face!)
This is Marek, Ashley's youngest.  As you can tell, he's huge, and Finn insisted on holding him, it was so cute.

The Miller's left soon after the reunion, and oh how we miss them! June was such a spectacular month, and we love living so close to family.
