Escape of the 2 year olds

Sleep has been a precious commodity... well let's be honest, since the boys were born, but lately it's been a struggle because they learned how to get out of their cribs! I think it's lucky we lasted as long as 2 1/2, but boy, it has been crazy these last few months.

We decided to just take off the sides of their cribs and turn them into toddler beds because they'll sleep in beds eventually and should get used to it.  As it turns out, taking the side down means "party time" for them.  They play and cry until they finally pass out in front of the door.

It has probably been 2 months of this now, with no looks of it changing. I've started just putting a blanket down in front of the door because that's where I always find them.

They have been wrecking their room every day

We've taken away naps because they'll keep each other up unless they're dead tired. They'll stay up until 11:30 or later people, it has been crazy! I've contemplated putting them in separate rooms, but I don't feel like that would work either. They would wonder where brother is and wouldn't go to sleep. The other problem is that Crew doesn't need as much sleep as Finn, so he'll go wake up Finn even if he is asleep. There have been many late nights/mornings. If you have any advice let me know!

Willey and Chloe's Wedding Day

My sweet sister in law Chloe got married in August! It was a hot summer day, but the sealing was late in the afternoon and it was wonderful.  Chloe met Willey at LDS BC and they dated for almost a year before they got married. You can tell these two are very much in love and we are just so happy for them.

Sorry it's kind of blurry- but her dress!!  It was gorgeous and so Chloe.

The reception was held in a friend's yard and it was so beautiful! 

Finn would not wear his bow tie, but they loved dancing all night long!

I obviously didn't get enough pictures, but I was having too much fun! It was held later in the night so it was dark with hundreds of lights strung around the yard. She also had a cake buffet that was to die for! We love you Willey and Chloe, thanks for getting married so we could have a party!

Summer 2015

Summer is coming to and end, and I can't believe how fast time is flying by. We have just had the greatest summer this year!

I really love that I get to stay home with these two.  It's not always easy, but there really is no place I would rather be.

We scored awesome seats for a REAL game! I wanted to be a good mom and give the boys a new experience.  I thought they would love it!

Popcorn helped for a little while

Went to Wheeler farm for the first time! These boys love being outside.

Went swimming in the backyard a lot this summer

We also tried Kangaroo Zoo for the first time this year, and the boys were in heaven.

Brian surprised me with 6 days off one week in August- it was AMAZING.
